From the time I walked into the beautiful lodge and looked out of the full glass wall at the pristine blue waters of Iliamna Lake and observe the breath-taking snowcapped mountains in the distance it was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were comparable to a hotel with great rooms and gourmet food. There is an abundance of moose and brown bears. In fact, in my experience some of the hunters saw at least 10 brown bears within the first two days. Another gem is that of the work family (team) of Bushwack Alaska. This team is professional, friendly, hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and extremely collaborative, totally dedicated to making my outdoor experience the best that it could be.
