Black Bear population numbers are high in our part of Alaska. Often, multiple bears can be seen at once from a stationary vantage point. Black Bear hunting is a great value and is the least expensive guided hunt we offer. It’s a great hunt for an introductory trip to Alaska, youth, or to squeeze in a summer hunt when no other seasons are open. We hunt Black Bear predominantly spot and stalk, but baiting can be arranged with advance notice.
